The Windermere Country Club Foundation's A Home for A Hero Golf Event will take place Tuesday, February 19, 2013. The Sixth Annual Event will benefit U.S. Marine Corporal Ronald Clayton Barnes Jr and his family, recipients of West Orange Habitat for Humanity's Home at Last 2013 Project. This event is to help provide a Mortgage Free Home for CPL Barnes and his family. For CPL Barnes' story click on OUR HEROES above.
Come and enjoy a great day of golf at the newly-renovated Windermere Country Club and help provide A Home for a Hero. The event will include a 4 – person Scramble, breakfast buffet, beverage cart, and a special lunch, with awards, following the golf tournament. Featured events for the day include Silent and Live Auctions, Hole in One and Long Drive contests, and a raffle drawing.
Cpl. Barnes and his family are scheduled to join us at the event. If you are unable to play but still want to "do something to say thanks to the military", you may sign up to be an event sponsor, donate an auction item, or purchase a raffle ticket.
